Melamchi Water Treatment Plant construction likely to delay |

Kathmandu: The construction of Melamchi Water Treatment Plant at Sundarijal is likely to delay after the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) expressed dissatisfaction towards the China Geo Engineering Corporation Company recommended by the Melamchi Water Supply Development Board for the construction of the treatment plant.
The Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board was compelled to cancel the recommendation to the China Geo Engineering Corporation Company after the JICA expressed dissatisfaction towards the company blacklisted by the World Bank.
