Kathmandu: ‘Water Expo’ is going to be organized for the first time in Nepal. At the time when the dwellers of Kathmandu city are facing the shortage of drinking water, a three-day Nepal Water Expo 2012 is going to be held for the first time in Nepal to bring to the knowledge of general public the values, importance, uses and reuses of water in the modern context and inspire individuals, families, communities, institutions and government agencies to initiate measures of water conservation at respective level.

Similarly, the water expo beginning from May 4, 2012 at Direction Exhibition & Convention Center aims to expose all the scattered efforts of river cleaning in one place and exhibit different technical aspects on water. The expo will include documentaries, photo exhibitions and seminars on water.
