Ward declared open defecation free Print E-mail

Hetauda: The villagers have declared Rajdevi of Hatiya VDC-2 an open defecation free ward during the National Sanitation Week. Rado Nepal has initiated to declare open defecation free zones in many places of Makwanpur.

Pokhari Gaun of Bhainse, Naya Basti of Churiyamai, Sano Sukauli and Lama Tole of Padam Pokhari have already been declared open defecation free zones in the area. Nepal Government has set a national goal to declare Nepal an open defecation free zone within the next nine years. Chairman of Rado Nepal Krishna Prasad Dhital told 889 toilets should be constructed in Nepal every day to achieve the national goal.
