Dulalthok an open defecation free zone Print E-mail

Dhulikhel: The residents of ward no. 7 of Paanchkhal VDC of Kavre have declared their village an open defecation free zone on the occasion of World Environment Day and national sanitation week.

About 225 households of Dulalthok village have been declared open defecation free zone under the ‘Total Sanitation Programme’ operated by Shanti Janaadarsha Sewa Kendra in coordination of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Office Kavre and assistance from UNICEF Nepal. The village has been declared open defecation free zone as all the households in the village have constructed latrines.
