Pokhara: Bio-diversity and Environment Conservation Centre Pokhara organized a rally with the slogan “CO2 kick the habit! Towards a low carbon economy” on June 5 on the occasion of 34th World Environment Day.

The rally that started from Chipledhunga went around the Pokhara market and ended in Sirjana chok. Many students, mothers' groups, civil society and public participated in the rally with placards and banners focusing on keeping the environment clean and healthy. While different organizations are celebrating environment day in Pokhara, the Pokhara Sub-metropolis has not lifted garbage piled in different thoroughfares of Pokhara.
