New policy to promote rainwater harvesting technology |

Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal is to make necessary arrangement to include rainwater harvesting, storage and usage technology while making blueprint of the new house or building. The government is going to make such an arrangement for promoting rainwater collection, storage and usage.
The Ministry of Physical Planning and Works is finalizing the directives on rainwater harvesting, storage and usage technology for solving drinking water problem. The ministry is going to make necessary arrangement in the directives as to approve only the blueprints with the infrastructures including rainwater harvesting and usage technology. Joint Secretary at the ministry Suman Sharma told that the ministry is preparing directives to encourage people to promote rainwater harvesting technology.
