Bhaktapur: Katunje Ghattekhola Lift Water Supply Project, the first biggest project under operation in the collective efforts of community, is constructing a 300,000L water tank to supply drinking water to the consumers in an easy way. Katunje Ghattekhola Lift Consumers Committee stated that the committee is working for 24-hour water supply to the consumers of 2300 households in the area.

Earlier, the committee was supplying 1 million litres of water a day for two hours in the morning and evening. Acting President the committee Bhuwan Singh Thapa inaugurated the tank amidst a ceremony. The estimated cost of the tank is Rs. 1.2 million.
